The main purpose of this organisation is to broadcast Hindu religious, cultural and social programmes.

We broadcast on DAB radio channel Asian Plus and on this website (www.sanskarradio.com) every day from 6am til 10pm. During the festivals of Mahashivratri, Janmashtmi and Diwali we broadcast on FM for 28 days each time as well.

There are 34 volunteers who produce and present their programmes day in day out with no monetary reward. The money collected from donations and adverts we spend on hiring the channel and buying the FM licenses.

At present the people living in the East Midlands can listen to us but we wish that every Hindu living in the UK should be able to listen to us. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us to achieve our goal.
